Tragedy in the Rupice mine: Worker killed in truck overturn, 15 August 2025

The company Adriatic Metals BH sent its sincere condolences to the family and employer of a worker from Visoko, a subcontractor who died in an accident at the Rupice mine site.

The tragedy occurred as a result of the overturning of a truck, which was owned by a subcontractor, on the road inside the mine, not inside the pit itself.

Although the incident did not happen in the pit, the company decided to suspend work in that area for 24 hours so that the investigative authorities have enough time to determine all the circumstances of this accident.

Adriatic Metals BH points out that it applies high standards of safety at work for all its 500 employees, and emphasizes that it transfers these same protection measures to its contractors and subcontractors, of which there can be several hundred on the field at any time...
