The witness examination trial continues. SBIPE, along with its legal team, presented factual witnesses and labour expert witnesses (7/10). Essentially, the expert witness assessed that the company had violated labour laws.
"Workers are limited to eight working hours/day, with any excess being considered overtime. If the company implements a 12-hour workday, then eight working hours are considered basic hours, and four hours are considered overtime," asserted Nabiyla Risfa Izzati, an expert witness on labour issues from the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University.
Furthermore, the legal team inquired about the more detailed context of the case, regarding the collective agreement issued by the 20 workers as defendants. Article 4 of the collective agreement explains that the workers, as defendants, are not entitled to claim other rights after the issuance of the collective agreement.

Specifically regarding overtime pay, referring to the company's "Internal Memo" which stipulates a 40 percent incentive wage, this is also in conflict with the provisions stipulated in Government Regulation No. 35 of 2021, which clearly regulates overtime pay.

Due to the extreme working hours, without any special protection for female workers, the witness was deemed to have experienced severe fatigue under certain conditions. The witness also testified before the panel of judges that she had suffered three miscarriages during her employment.
