We are aware of certain instances of Volvo Group products, outside of our control, having been used in a manner which we do not support, and Volvo Group is taking steps that aim to reduce risks of such instances. However, without further details regarding what exact vehicle was used (including image of serial number or similar), it is not possible for us to investigate when and where the product could have been sold. In Israel, we sell Volvo products to a private importer, Mayers Cars and Trucks, that then sell products to end-customers. However, there are additional pathways through which Volvo products may enter a market and reach end-customers, where our control or oversight is highly limited, for example through onward sales on the second-hand market. Our products have a long-life span and may be rented out and change ownership many times during their operational duration and we are limited in our ability to influence how and where our products will be used throughout their entire life cycle by different end-users.
